I i am tryign to find a very hard game i downlaoded before but had to un-download it. It is a foreign game, ( game is in english but the name is foreign) It is a hex-based strategy war game very similar to risk but is very very very big. It is based in Europe 17th Century. It is similar to Risk but it is based in Europe ( and some parts of North Africa) and instead of countrys being 1 territory they ca be like 20 somthing territorys. You can conduct diplomacy with other nations ( like France, and spain) It is based in 17th Centuray so countrys like ottoman Empire still exist. The game name is very similar to this: Cathir. That is not the game name but is very very similar to it. googling will not work as it just comes up as cat hair searches. The people that made the game stoped working on it because there was not enough players but it still should be up for download. also in the game name it has werid letters like this: é but i don't know which letter is it that ha sthe little slah over it.
Please if somone would find this game it would be great, as it is probaly the most intresting hex-based wwar i ever played. :wall:
P.S sorry for spelling i suck at typing

A little more info would be nice. Is it DOS or Windows, is it an Online game (as you were saying there weren't enough players) or was it play-by-mail. My first thought was Europa Universalis, but that doesn't have any accented characters in it :D

The Settler of Catan (http://www.catan.com/profeasy.html) maybe? Looks very similar to what you describe.

Windows game. It is not Settlers of Cantan, it was an online game and you could play against other players when the devs who made the game sitll had the servers up. The game is just 1 name and it starts with a C. As i said it is very similar to Cathir.

I know that this isn't even close, yet this is the nearest I can think to it: Aevum Obscurum (http://www.ageofconquest.com/).

One of these (http://www.mobygames.com/game-group/settlers-of-catan-licensees),perhaps?
Your description(except the hex part) sounds like Europa Universalis (http://www.mobygames.com/game-group/europa-universalis-series).

Oak that game is very similar to it, think more 3-D though wiht hexes. On the hexes the Army will appear as a 17- Centuray Musketeer or somthing in 3-D\. It has nothing to do with the Settlers pof Catan. By un-downloading it, i wiped my computers memory due tpo some malware and lost the game
The game name begins with a C. Cathir is almost its exact name but this is a foreign game and the name is kinda foreign.
Last time i foudn it i was either googling freeware games, freeware stratedgy games, or freeware war games. I have tryed to do this agian but with no luck.
also Oak the game is much much bigger than that. Way more territories in hex-form.
