Master Of Magic Install Problems

when i try to install master of magic i get the message C:\oldgames\MASTER~1\INSTALL.PIF
invalid program file please check your pif file

any help please ?

Game is already installed. Use install.exe only to set up sound.

uhm the install.pif points a wrong location. just remove the pif file

You have to run the game in DOS. Running the MSDOS file "install.exe" will give you that error if you try running it from Windows Explorer.

1) Open the Command Prompt (Start, Run, type CMD, press Enter or Click OK).
2) Navigate to your directory (i.e. type "cd PATH" without quotes where PATH is the Windows Explorer path to the directory that contains the game, e.g. "cd C:\Magic\")
3) Type "install.exe" to configure sound.
4) Type MAGIC to begin the game.
