I own the Westwood Monopoly CD, which is awesome. I loooove the animations.

I recently picked up a copy of Monopoly Deluxe (http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?gameid=736) from HoTU.

I haven't played the CD version in a while though...perhaps tonight is a good night (it is raining outside)...

Anyone play this on PC or other platforms (besides the board?) :)

I got a NES version... it's a nice game but I prefer the boardgame

Yeah, the boardgame's the only way to go for Monopoly, in my opinion. It's one of the those games that's light in features and relies heavily upon social interaction for fun. Just my point of view.

The boardgame is better than the virtual game!

I agree, the boardgame is more fun.
I sometimes play it with my cousins..
My aunt had it on her computer some while ago, I never liked it there... Not fun to play against AI. Just something missing.

Sure thing. I have Axis And Allies here on my PC, but playing against the (dumb) computer is not fun... So we actually all gather to one PC when we want to play it and play hotseat. LOL

Playing with the actual board game would be impossible since we are so rarely often enough to fill all 5 spaces... And it would take forever to setup and then move and play with all the pieces...
