There is not much I remember from this game. It was a point'n'click adventure but with first person 3D stills. Each location (iirc) had different stills depending on which direction you were looking. You controlled movement and view direction with the mouse by pointing at different locations on the screen (arrows would show direction) and the "action menues" were different cursor symbols.

The story was about dragons (how original...) and it was something about teaming up with one, either as it's master or it's "soulmate" or whatever. I never made it far enough to tell for sure.

I don't know if the graphics were photo realistic but I remember it to be very good for a game that old.

Not much to go on, I know, but if it rings a bell...

Sounds like Dragonriders: Chronicles of Pern (http://www.mobygames.com/game/dragon-riders-chronicles-of-pern/screenshots) :)

Mmm, doesn't look like it. Doesn't one of them screenies show the main char in 3rd person? I'm pretty sure it was 1st person all the way. Thanks anyway :)

Oh, first person.. hmm.. Dragon Lore or Dragon Lore 2 (http://www.mobygames.com/game/dragon-lore-ii-the-heart-of-the-dragon-man/screenshots) maybe? :)

Ah, found the name. Dragon Lore. Looks like I remembered wrong about the "photo realistic graphics". Perhaps I was just a bit blown away back in the mid 90's? Anyway, thanks for your effort, hun :)

Seems like a good game. Is it worth trying?

Crappy game (to be honest...) but I liked the music. One of those games that boasted a gossamer-thin plot, bolstered by (the then) hi-tech 3D pre-rendered graphics.
