I played this pc game in 98 or 99, but the game was in spanish (maybe a translation)it came on a magazine. The main character looks like the one in where's wally, nerd with glasses, i remember he is in a library and gets a book card, then visits a museum and something happens and he ends up in ancient Egypt. Its a funny graphical adventure very similar to Bud Tucker.

Does anyone know the name of the game?

It doesn't fit entirely. His glasses & fake nose are a disguise. But he does go to Egypt (as well as a few other places)

found it Frodo its from the same developers of Drascula, its called Alfred Pelrock and it's a spanish adventure game. Do you know if there's an english version?
