What about creating Birthday section on site, as almost every day there are new threads about birthdays of members (evern unknown members)!

It would even be enough to have a birthday thread in Blah blah blah, pinned ;) Same thread for everybody.

Yeah, that's an option, too.
Suddenly I realised that we can create site congrats threat (I think this is already mentioned somewhere).

I saw a similar thread on other forum just make a sticky happy birthday thread since it seems that these are opened daily.

But not everyone reads Stickies, no matter what they about. I know I don't.

I don't like this idea.
It would make it too much formal.Making a birthday thread for all users is like telling them "oh great it's your birthday, join the club"

We can keep it in the Bla Bla section..

Most birthday things are gone after a week so you doesnt have that much problem with them

Creating a birthday section will not help us in keeping the site simple and understandable it will only help clutter it up more. I think happy birthday threads should be reserved for regulars instead of everyone who bothers to fill in his or her birthday when registering. Of course we will not put any penalty on creating a happy birthday thread it's everyones right to do so. Just my opinion.

i'd agree with picard's opinion. congratulations threads for regulars would possibly
be the most reasonable solution, without making the forum too 'complex'...
