So...it seems that Abandonia is missing the review for this game. I've been playing it, and could write a review, but I've noticed I'm missing an expansion pack. I've been informed that it can be provided. While it will slow down my review a bit, it will definitely help.
It's a "what-if scenario" and I think it spoils a bit the historical flavor of the sim, just as in the case of the IL-2 Sturmovik series ( ;) ). I think you could safely add a separate mini-review of the add-on later.
Funny thing: I bought that game in 1993, yet I've learned about this add-on only today :)

Well, I'd like to review it as a whole, there might be some bugfixes in expansion pack. AotP isn't exactly a bugfree game :)

I'll send you two PMs, one with the FTP access, and the other with the expansion. Also, you could really try taking the possibility of writing a separate review in account.

Thanks. I'll separate the article about expansion pack, but there's no point in playing without having it installed, it contains a lot of bugfixes for both technical and gameplay issues.

Well, in that case, you can write a single one. Also don't forget about the screens. 320x200 resolution or one that can be resized to that size. If there is no such thing, upload the one there is. PNG format, DOSBox will automatically capture them in this format when pressing Ctrl+F5. Minimum 5 screens, 5-8 is optimal, up to 15 max if the review is long.
I don't think you'll have problems with this, but the review must be at least 15 lines long. The more the better.

I think that I'll hit the other limits...16 good screenies ready, that is definitely too much...

Well. I got kinda more busy than I expected, and then, a "little" case of writer
's block, but finally, it's done and uploaded. I'm not sure if I shouldn't cut it a bit short, after I really got to writing it ended a bit long.

I'm jsut curious, when will the game be put on the site? It's over two weeks since I uploaded the review...did I miss something, or is it just taking some time? No rush, just wanna know if I did something wrong...

Lol, of course you didn't do anything wrong. It's just we still have games on the waiting list, and we also need to do updates for extras too. So it takes some time. Newsposts are necessary to promote the games, otherwise the world wouldn't even know about them.

I remember the first time I uploaded anything, it took over 1 month until it was put on site.

One way to speed up your games getting up on site, Sarin, is to keep submitting reviews for the ones that need them.
Doing this means you'll have a lot more that will eventually go up on site and, because of the greater number of game-pages you will have contributed to, there's a better chance that one of yours will come up :D
It's a bit like spread-betting at roulette, but with less gambling involved as the games *will* eventually land on 18 black.
If you enjoy writing reviews of games, why not write some slightly extended ones, with more detail, of the reviews you do for the site and submit them in the Abandoned Times forum?
Please header your threads with "Review: [game name]", if you do, so that I can distinguish that they're reviews rather than articles or anything else.
This kinda goes for anyone who is active writing reviews for games to go on site.
