If you played the game and liked the soundtrack, a lot of it was done by the band Afro Celt Sound System..interesting band to look into also.

I have this game on cd, back when it was in the bargain bin. It was a little difficult to control especially when it came to casting building spells like the healing fountain, and moving behind large buildings like temples that were apart of the scenery.
Just be careful, I tend to have found a bug in obtaining one of the reagents in the third world. I think it was iron (can't be sure as it has been a while since i have played).

BTW the game is really marvellous in hotseat: just play with two virtual machines. (also great for running in linux)

Ooh I remember this! A friend had it, It has a fantastic sound track as previously mentioned. My friend said at the time it was super hard, and never got very far with it, it would be fun to replay it some time, I'll have to add it to my list, if only to hear the music again hehehe.

It's crap! Extremely slow, laboured, utterly boring..... just another example of "the dross of the dross". All that's left on Abandonia it seems after GOG have just helped themselves to ownership of most of what was once the thriving abandonware scene!

This game is horribly underrated. there is borderline no information available on the game, at least one review for it is flat wrong.
It actually doesn't run in dos. it has a very unique system for summoning minions and lets the main character mess around with a
huge pile of spells. secrets scattered around the map. it reminds me of warwind where each scenario isn't a resource rush, but a
tactical puzzle.

also the game is jinxed, the download is broken again.:blush:

Just one little glitch that the advance of computers has caused.
An error message pops up when you try to open a door or collect a scroll, sometimes causing a crash. this makes level 4 somewhat unbeatable. You can fix this glitch by going to the sounds.ini file and deleting the comments fallowing picview1.wav and picview2.wav. you may also have to capitalize the 'p'.
