I played this game when it first appeared back in 1994. The variety of actions you could take impressed me: you could direct your generals to fight on a large strategic map (as your lands were invaded), lead the battle yourself in person, capture enemy monsters, torture them, create new spells, etc. The only problem was terrible documentation. And I never did find a pause key that allowed the inputting of commands. It was a wild, unproductive scramble trying to move from room to room to accomplish a series of tasks in realtime, which my computerized enemies had no difficulty achieving all at once, damn their multitasking code! ;)

The game's currently available on HOTU, but--not surprisingly--without documentation. Has anybody got the docs for this? And more to the point, is it possible to freeze action and input commands?

Now we have English and German manual on main site, were you looking for that doc?
PM sent :)

Yes, I was--thank you very much. While I can do well enough in German, my English is much more fluent. ;) I will check the manual out.

Once again, thank you for your courteous response.
