I used to play Buck Rogers when I was much youger in my 386 (if I'm right) with a Hercules monitor using an utility to emule vga called Spega.

Buck Rogers is a spaceship game, in kind of 3D, where you move yourself right or left to avoid enemies, and try to pass through the "gates" to make points. Of course you can fire for aiming.

I still have it in a 5 1/4 floppy disk and I passed it to my HD after recorvering a 286 with a 5 1/4 drive to use. The problem is that the game is made to been booted and the speed of my PCs (both of them: the 286 and the pentium) run too fast the game to have at least a glance why did I die.

I consider myself an intermidiate PC user and I hear any solution on how to slow down the speed of mi PC for this particular game. In my Pentium I'm running WinME.

P.S.: If anybody wants this game don't hesistate to contact me ;)
My mother tongue is spanish and I also speak french.

One program comes into my mind: MoSlo..
It filles your CPU with jung equation to overload it, and slow down your computer... your WHOLE computer.. so don't have ANYTHING else running..

esle there IS the option of DosBox (i assume it's a DOS-game), and just set the settings REALY low...

Since it came out in 1983 it's probably considered abandonware... maybe something a valueable asset to abandonia?

You could grab the game from HOTU (http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?gameid=1410) and slow that one down with Mo'Slo or Turbo (a nifty slowdown program for Windows), for I don't think it's very easy to use either of them with the bootable disk you've got.
