I always long for getting back a text-based games (something very likely as this one : The Quest for Excalibur (http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/598/Arthur+-+The+Quest+for+Excalibur.html))

But I really cannot recall even the name of the game. Only pieces of what I can remember is,
1) the background of the game is medieval,
2) some pieces of text description (places) inside the game:
- Unicorn
- a place of bazaar with a long pole with standing in the center, it's slippy to climb
- A castle with a door locked and there's some wax outside
- Some ladies with handkerchief..

That's all I can remember. All I'm sure it's a text based games with my PC. It's released on 80's The overall delivery is very likely to The Quest for Excalibur (http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/598/Arthur+-+The+Quest+for+Excalibur.html))

A great help for any hints / guess if you can recall the game name... This is something that I always want to dig out in my old memories.

Thanks,
Philip

Sounds like Eric the Unready (http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/eric-the-unready) to me. Especially the door with the wax outside.
