There are (somewhat old) posts around the internet about Activision
planning to work on, a third game :w00t:

The working title is

Little Big Adventure 3: Genesis of the Stellar Entity

I'm not sure if they're still going through with it.

i read in some mag that they abandoned it after the lead designers walked out early in the initial stages of making the game.

I never knew there was gonna be a 3rd, but I heard that LBA 2 didn't sell too well, I've got a copy though :D but would have been cool if the 3rd was made now.

I've done a bit of research and as far as I can tell there won't be an LBA3!

The game was meant to be made by Adeline Software, who made the first two. They became NoCliche and were then bought by Sega to make Dreamcast games. They did work on a basic design for LBA3. "Genesis of the stellar entity" was the working title but as far as I can tell nothing was ever made. Adeline and NoCliche now appear to have disappeared completely!

So I guess the answer is no! There won't be a sequel!
