Hi all,

I'm doing some basement cleaning, and found some early - mid 90s CD-Rom games. I did a quick search on the site, and none of these games seem to be available. Do you guys need .iso's of the following? (Or if not ISOs, what?)

1. Quantum Gate (1993) by Hyperbole Studios
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_Gate_(PC_game)

2. Spear of Destiny (1992) by ID
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spear_of_Destiny_(video_game)

3. Spectre VR (1994) by Velocity Development
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectre_(computer_game)

4. Fighter duel (1995) by Philips Interactive

5. The Journeyman Project Turbo (1994 ) by Sanctuary Woods
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Journeyman_Project_(series)#The_Journeyman_Pro ject

6. Spaceship Warlock (1994) by Mike Saenz and Joe Sparks
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaceship_Warlock

7. Jetfighter II (1990) by Velocity Development
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jetfighter_(computer_game)

8. Hexen (1995) by Raven Studios (this is on floppy)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexen

Anyhow, if any of these need to be upped, just let me know which ones, and the procedure!

Cheers!

If the games have over 150 MB they go to the ISO Cellar. If less than 150 MB **** to the FTP and eventually on the site. For the FTP access I'll send you a PM with instructions soon.

For the ISO Cellar (a forum section to which you'll have acces after being more active on the forum) you upload the games using a file-sharing site like 4shared.com, send the link to me, Paco or Lulu_Jane and we'll post the game there.

Thank you for your contributions. :)

Hi TotalAnarchy,

Sounds good. I just checked the Spectre VR (1994) CD, and it comes in at a whopping 3.76 MB. A word of warning - I read the readme, and it informed me that the game requires a serial number to play, which is in the instruction manual. Unfortunately, my basement cleaning did not turn up this manual.

However, a 2-second Google turned up a link with a bunch of game serials on it, including one that will allegedly open Spectre VR. I'm not sure if it's okay to post links like that here, so I'll refrain until I hear one way or the other. Needless, someone should be able to dig the serial out of the internet's basement.

Jetfighter II weighs in at an even more paltry 1.04 MB (this is on a CD-Rom, mind you!).

Anyhow, let me know how you would like me to proceed, and they are all yours (ours)!

I've sent you a PM with FTP instructions. About the serial number, if you checked it and it works maybe you can put it in a txt file and upload it with the rest of the archive. But I think sooner or later someone will scan the manual.

The two approved games (Jetfighter 2 and Spectre VR) are now ready to be reviewed.
