No, you can ABSOLUTELY NOT "work something" out!

The game is NOT abandonware, and by working something out... you will eventually get this site shut down.

If he wants the full version of the game, he will have to buy it.

SOrry Tom,

Didnt know this game was still sold...

EDIT: Must i check this with every game all the time?? (if someone is asking something??) and if it's a YES...What is the easiest way to check things like this??

Here is a little rule of thumb.

If the game was made by either Sierra, LucasArts / LucasFilm / LucasGames or Apogee... think of the games as still sold, until otherwise proven.

Hocus Pocus is an Apogee game.

The easiest way would be to check Underdogs:
http://www.the-underdogs.org/

That is what we do as a first stop. If`Underdogs have the game for download, then it is ok.

If Underdogs do not show any information at all, it would be great to go to MobyGames to get some information on the game:
http://mobygames.com/

And if you see that the game is only a couple of years old, or produced by any of the above listed companies, the chance is high that the game is still sold.

If all the above turns out blank, you can start looking for a buy/purchase link on the net.

You can trust HOTU with Abandonia's life.

Whatever you find on that site, is welcomed at our site (as long as it is good).

HOTU have been in trouble in the past so they make SURE that a game has been abandoned before they place it on the site.

You can find Hocus Pocus here: **link removed**

(I've removed the link because the game is still in sale. You can buy it from developers' site: 3D Realms (http://www.3drealms.com)

Oh yes, but i think the Commander Keen series is even better. Those were gold ages for platforms.

I played it back around 94 or 95, the game is a sidescroller action game with wizardry/medival fantasty. Smooth graphics, protagonist had blonde hair and wore a wizard's cap. Unfortunately that's all I remember. Can anyone help me out here?

Simon The Sorcerer? (http://www.abandonia.com/games/en/356/SimonSorcerer.htm)

Heck, you should play it anyway.

Can it be Hocus Pocus (http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/hocus-pocus)? It fits the side-scroller description.

hi all,

this game is a gem, i had it on my 386 so it's real old. think it had midi music.

you're in a castle and have to go from one side to the other, shooting dragons and so.

fluent animations, colourful. think the word Nemo or Magic was in the title.

cant find it anywhere, any ideas?
