Seeking MMORPGS with low graphics card reqs.

I love MMORPGS, but my graphics card is old and pretty awful, and I can't run anything requiring Directx Acceleration or or Direct3D capabilities. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

it's an awesome rpg with old school feeling (works under xp of course, it's a new game)
i got hooked for few a weeks but then i woke up because the exams started

Browser based games in general aren't very good but when your hardware is out of the stone age your choices are play what your pc can handle or upgrade.

I personally play Maple Story, a 2D MMORPG that's a good deal of fun.

the only good stuff about maple story is that the majority of the players are female=P but doesn't count much neither, because most of them are 14. you meet some adult ones too but it's kinda rare, so unless you're a pedophile it's not so good

and i'm not even going to mention the terrible gameplay where all quests consists of monster drops graining. then you could think that party quests are a bit fun, but it's same stuff over and over. then it's monster graining again until you get to do the party quest in another city

and i know what i'm talking about, i have a level 65 sin there, because i got hooked back then and my exgirlfriend played it so meh

BTW: Russ I tried out EUO and its a pretty awesome game.. only problem is I didn't see anyone around. It's like an old rpg game but online and full of people. Maybe not so many people play that game anymore?

I've bookmarked EUO, Skyblade, and Nodiatis, and will definitely be checking them out later, thank you! I'm currently playing a browser-based too: Evony (http://13.evony.com/s.html). It's pretty fun; for now at least.

I did try Runescape a few years back, I think, and didn't care for it much.

Maplestory, on the other hand, I can't even run! I used to play, back before my decent PC crashed and burned. :P Eh, too much grinding and childishness anyhow.

There is one cliented MMORPG I have had no problems running, and that's Wonderland Online (http://wl.igg.com/). I have no idea why that is, but that one game got old a bit fast, though it was addictive for a while. I've been looking for other (viable for me) application-based MMORPGS ever since!

Oh man, rub it in, eh? ;) I've always wanted to play, but my PC is a $200 workstation with no graphics card slot (I found that out the hard way, AFTER buying the card!), and I don't have the experience enough in building hardware to connect it anyway.

I tried playing Evony once as I was trying to avoid doing the work I had to do. There were these ppl in the chatbox complaining in German that they couldn't understand how to play and others complaining that they shouldn't write in German in the English chatbox. Oh, well, in the end I went back to work. It was productive.

Nodiatis is the biggest rip-off ever. I played until level 9 and then found out what a big waste of time since you can't do anything without paying for micro-transactions.
Wearing epic armor costs virtues - buyable for 10$
Using gem slots to cast spells without restriction costs 39$
Timecard to play 6 hours without exp penalty costs 5$

You could easily end up paying 150$ sorry but this is a piece of shit.

At least everybody here is warned now.
