I've played through the Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island series (so I've played most of the best). I've also played Full Throttle, Dig, Beneath Steel Sky, Journey of the Amazone Queen and the first three Broken Sword games. And the Indiana Jones series. And of the latest, the Syberia series.

Any good recommendation for something else? :embarassed:

I support the Quest for Glory and Gabriel Knight I recommandations.

Also : Loom, Death Gate, Mission Critical, I Have no Mouth and I Must Scream, Shadow of the Comet, Prisoner of Ice, Lure of the Temptress, Les Voyageurs du Temps (I guess it's Future Wars in english ?).

And many more, but that should already keep you occupied for a while hehehe.

If you like the puzzle solving aspect in games you should try the Myst, Riven, URU series of games. (http://www.realmyst.com/)
Mmm, That music brings back memories :max:

I'd also put Lighthouse in that type of games.

No idea why the forum places the automated url tag before the last parentheses thing.

I can't find anything about this game, nor where to get it.

It's supposed to be approved, right? Do you have it?

I should have it indeed, just leave a couple days to find it in my mess and I'll get back on this. No idea if it's ok to upload on abandonia though.

Glad to hear it.

Also, if any mod is watching, could he/she please change "P&P" to "P&C"? :hihihi:

You can edit your first post and change the title. :)

Also, a good P&C game is any FPS with awesome sniper rifles. :D Rainbow Six, anyone?

This one thoroughly disappointed me, I must say. Frustrating "combat" system and plot holes a-plenty. Too bad, the idea was nothing but grand.

by the look on your taste i think you would definitely like legends of kyrandia (1), king's quest 6 -downloadable at abandonia. and if you want something from the newer titles, go for the longest journey

Yes, I've also played both Longest Journey games. The first one is one of my most favorite games ever.

Never played the King's quest, will follow your advice. Just tell me - is a necessity to play the first King's Quest games (e.g. some of the jokes aren't understandable in Monkey Island if you haven't played the first games), or should I run for 6 at once?

well each part continues a new generation of the kings and princes, but i think you will be able to understand it without playing previous ones

Just to keep you updated : I can't seem to find my copy of RAMA anywhere at the time. I'll keep searching though, and let you know if it turns up in my pandemonium.

"7 Days a Stranger" and the decreasing numeral series following are all quite good, provided your ok with a bit of horror and not detered by a bit of gore. I'm suprised no one thought to mention them yet.

Some more recent point & click adventure games: Post Mortem, Still Life, Still Life 2 (part of same series), Paradise (very similar to Syberia), The moment of silence, Sinking Island.

Return to Zork is another good one. Kind of like Myst, only I like it a lot better since it has adventure game style puzzles where you have an inventory and pick up things and talk to characters.

Paradise is pretty bad. It's rather disappointing, being unfinished and barren so much.

I agree with King's Quest 6, very good game. You do not need prior knowledge of the series to jump in and play.

Also recommend Sam n' Max (the original) and Day of the Tentacle.

Try The 7th Guest if you like puzzles as well, it runs in ScummVM now.

First, I have to thoroughly second ("first ... thoroughly second ..." - way to go, Shakespeare ... :whistling: well, whatever) the Quest for Glory Series. You cannot find the second part as a point&click title (well, presuming that you do not view the Sierra SCI engine based titles as point&click, which in my opinion only someone at least borderline insane could pull off), but if you have the least inclination to role playing games and are an adventure fanatic (which seems to be the case) I'd say fuck it and give this series a try. You will not be disappointed; quite the opposite: you will be sucked into it.

Second, I'd like to recommend everything point&click published by Legend Entertainment, like "Companions of Xanth", "Death Gate", "Mission Critical", "Shannara", "Star Control" and "Callahan's Crosstime Saloon". Magnificent stories and atmosphere there, very well done gems of the adventure genre. (Actually I also recommend the text-based titles from Legend, because they rock. Hard. But if typing totally turns you off, well, give it a pass I guess. You're still missing out though. :))

AGD made a remake of QFG 2. You can Read a review for it, and see screenshots here (http://www.reloaded.org/download/Quest-For-Glory-II-Trial-By-Fire-Remake/410/) :3:
