Any way you might find this site interesting, you will find tutorials and all the necessary downloads for the rpg maker series.
But if you are interested in playing a game, I can tell you, it is very easy and you don't need to investigate on all that site.

Yes I am trying to play FF Nova.

Ok it's quite easy
first install the rpg maker 2000 (http://2drpg.com/d/RM2K_105E.zip) on your computer
then install the rtp (http://2drpg.com/d/rtp132e.zip) on your computer also
then unzip the files of endless nova (http://files.abandonia.com/ramdisk/ac9b9873973e2e0270fee949357b1cee0492ac347b69d7caf9 88986814/Final%20Fantasy%20-%20Endless%20Nova.zip)and double click on the launcher icon.

and that's it

That dont matter. After you install RPG Maker 2000 (For FFEN RTP isnt needed), you start the Game.

Give it a try don't be afraid just install the program and it will take you trough and then you go to the folder where you unziped the game and double click on the launcher. :)
