Do you remember this adventure back from 96' I think, it had impressive graphics, lot of odd riddles and a feeling of loneliness, so is it Abandonware?
It is impossible too get it here in Croatia and I remember playing the demo...

Reason: Direct linking to old warez. As a general rule of thumb, all french "abandonware" sites give old warez(games like Monkey island, simon the sorcerer, etc.).Keep that in mind next time you post a link to such sites

Mmmm, I remember that game. Little Myst clone it was. I think it's a Sierra game, and, being from '96, I highly doubt that Sierra would let it be put on abandonware sites, regardless of how abandoned it may be.

Lighthouse: The Dark Being (aka Lighthouse: Das Dunkle Wesen) (1996) by Sierra On-Line, Inc.

I'm sorry Tulac, it's protected...like most of Sierra games.

Myst-like adventure game. Sierra (publisher and developer) hasn't been ESA member anymore. Sold copies only at Amazon Marketplace (http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0002VUFU2/ref=sr_1_olp_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1239616332&sr=1-1).

Is it abandonware?

Sierra are still producing, I know that much...

As for this number - I ain't found it being sold anywhere except through 3rd party sales (like Amazon).

But... I didn't look amazingly hard.
Christ. I think anything that states that it's recommended spec for super-running is a 486DX 66Mhz and 8MB of RAM is pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty retired.

It is on a few other abandonware-type sites that shall remain nameless, however...
Not that some of these places conform to the stringent ESA regs.

A blatant, flagrant and irreverant disregard for the proper protocol, eh what?

Remember this one, it would indeed be awesome if available on the site. Though I wonder if it would be too big for AB, methinks it came on a CD and I'm not sure if there are rips out there.

I think it's 2 cds, so it would be too big for AB. :max:

I got it and I played it a while ago. It was interesting and there were lots of neat puzzles.

And yeah, its on two CD's, so its cellar stuff.

Is there any chance we can get this adventure game on here? I'm not sure on the size of the game... released in 1996.

Edit: Delete this please... never saw the other thread. Humblest apologies :/
