Loved watching the introduction videos. :p

EDIT: Alright. That was sweet. I will surely play this ALOT once I get on the desktop PC. (Sucks playing with the touchpad! I scored like 15-10* at the training battle with Crash!)

Add me, whoever wishes to: Renveii

I was never a big Quake III Arena fan I must admit - but that may have been the fault of my friend who was a die-hard player who was in the top 20 of best Belgian players :whistling:. It's not possible to learn a game properly if you get shot before you can even spot him. My friend mentally timed the respawn time of all goodies so I never got to pick up anything or he'd be right there waiting for me to pick it up and then blast me.

Personally, I preferred Unreal Tournament - it just felt better to me. The fact that you could easily make your own maps with the added editor was a big bonus ;). But really, the moment Counter Strike appeared I dropped both and just went with that.

Now, if they had made a browser-based CS, THAT would have gotten my attention. Especially if they added some of the old maps.

that's actually the best way to learn q3 properly :max: if i played with newbs instead of actual tourney professionals i think i would never become player as good as i am right now. you have to train timing in order to get the goodies, and it forced you to aim hard once you meet the opponent. i always played only against nightmare bots (which aren't that hard anyways) and my friends who were kind of pros and addicted

Counter Strike appeared I dropped both and just went with that. that's gotta be one of the worst multiplaying fpses ever

Quake is for personal blast them all pleasure, CS is a team multiplayer game, end of story. :owned:

the fact that you played only free for all doesn't mean that it's only for "personal pleasure"=P

You can also play CS free for all...but it is not the main stuff.
I was talking about core of that two games.
You can't say Quake is good, CS is bad, they are both good games but have different audience.
