As you people can see, my Phoenix avatar in my signature doesn't show anymore. I would have put it as my avatar from a very long time already if it wasn't only because it doesn't fit in the avatar restrictions.Your avatar must be no bigger than 100 pixels by 100 pixels in size. Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 30 KB.
My avatar is 551X519 and is 94,3Ko.
I was wondering if someone would knows how to could change it into the required size without altering the quality of the picture or simply do it for me. I sure don't know how I could ever do that.
Any help appreciated.

Photoshop... Paint Shop Pro... any tool'll do that in a tiffy. If you can't figure it out, just send me the link to the pic through PM and I'll fix you up.

I am sure not going to buy a program only to do that, especialy Photoshop. That one is a wallet killer!
I would send it to you via PM, but that's impossible.

Buy? Anyways, you can send the link to it through PM, or mail it to me (address is in my profile)

Or you can get trial version, or if you have MS Office use Photo Editor and edit the size and type of image.

I have no links and there is no email in your profile. There is an option of sending you a mail via this board, but I can't attach files on it.
Even if I would get the trial version of any program, I would still don't know how to do this without altering the quality of the picture. I won't even know how to do this prior to anything else.

PAINT!!!
Open Paint and go to Image>Stretch/Scew... and put the right percentage! (you can't put dimensions only percentage, but better anything than nothing)!

Oh well, it seems like I'll be stuck with that Grimlock avatar for a while then.

Thanks you so much Koen. I would vote for you in the "most helpful member of Abadonnia" thread if I had not already voted for someone else. :ok:
Edit: erm, I just tryied to use those pictures as an avatar and the board got me en error message:The error returned was:
You are not allowed to upload that type of file as an avatar or personal photo Since they are .jpg and .jpg are said to be allowed I was wondering what the problem might be, but then when I got to look at them in my picture folder it seems like Windows doesn't recognize that file as a picture... And neither does InfraView or Paint recognize them either.
Maybe the fact that you simply gave me the pictures via links on the email and Hotmain getting in the way could be the reason. Could you attach the files on the email instead? It would be worth a try.
I love all 3 pictures BTW. :ok:

Owww.... I thought I attached them, but hotmail seems to do that differently... I'll retry sending them, and I'll send gif images, since they should work...
Sent, hope it'll work. :D

I would suggest that you use a PM for such things in the future. ;)

Only because I received notice of the .zip via MSN Messenger and actually managed to update my avatar fast enough so I posted my last message second after he decided to tell me on this thread does not mean we were spamming... At least not me. ;)
