What music cds \ music dvds etc have you bought recently?
Are you glad you bought it, or, after listening to it, was it a waste of money?
Was it something you were looking forward to, or was it an impulse buy?
Tell all here.
The new Guns & Roses album (Chinese Democracy) is out. WOOHOO!!!
I am one of the few that still believed it would see the light of day. So for all you non-believers, I just have one thing to say - Nyeh Nyeh :bleh:
It's a brilliant album though - doesn't disappoint at all. I think my favourite tracks are Shackler's Revenge, Street Of Dreams, Sorry, and Madagascar.
*starts listining to it again*

support those terrible RIAA MPAA and other motherf**king MAFIAA companies? NEVER! BURN YOUR MUSIC CDS! AARGH
and to support the music makers, send donations, buy music online and visit their live performances
by buyng cds from big music companies, like SONY, instead of donating to music makers you kill good music

*is totally and utterly biting her tongue about Chinese Democracy*
Two nights ago I bought a home recorded album from a local hippie guy. The music is wonderful and the lyrics are ragingly offensive. What more could I ask for? Anyway, the cover art is worth it :D

While I might tend to agree with your RIAA comments, I contend that CDs are probably the best way to go. I mean, you've got something tangible that you can then convert and import into just about anything you want.
"kill good music"? Most of latest hiphop and junk coming out today is just that ... junk. (personal opinion) There's no personality, and the bands are in it for the money and fame, and not for art. I'll stick with my music, thank you. :whistling:

I just bought a compilation album called While My Guitar Gently Weeps - ZZ Top, the Jeff Healey Band, Whitesnake, etc., I'm sure you can see where this is going.

I bought the CD of For A Minor Reflection. I saw them heating up for Sigur Rós and bought the cd straight after the concert, and it was definitely not a waste of money =) (it didn't even cost much at all!)
I'd like to buy a Garđar Thor Cortes cd.

I mostly try to support artists by going to their concerts and occasionally buy their CD's at the gig. I had to buy the latest Hallo Venray album though, since I couldn't find it online. Thank goodness it's worth it :)

*cough*
Sure you did. It was an early Christmas present from yourself, wasn't it? And you didn't pay for it, did you?
