You have a really nice site here, and a good forum too. I've only visited for about 24 hours, but already found two things that bug me to no end...

1 - A mail is sent to me every time I get a PM. Sorry to say, but this is a major pain in the behind to me. At least allow the option in the Control Centre to turn this feature off (it's currently not available).

2 - When I click the forum link it opens the forums in a new window. Why? What's the point? Don't know about other people, but to me this is a minor annoyance.

So, apart from this, good site. Kudos!
Really like the looks of the forum, by the way... :ok:

1. in your user cp there is an option in email settings named "Send a confirmation email when I receive a new private message"

2. if your looking at a game review or news article that your in the middle of reading and you click on it, would you rather have it open in the same window and have to click back or just alt+tab between windows? i prefer the second option (i don't need to worry about that with tabbed browsing though - <3 Firefox :D)

1 - Looked through the board settings, and I could see one for getting a notice, i.e. a popup message, but not one for disabling emails. I've looked through every single link in my User CP, and di not find this option (usually placed in the Board Setting link).

2 - I use FireFox myself, but for some reason new windows opened in FireFox generate a new window, not a new tab.
Links from other applications open new tabs, though (the option for new tabs in the Advanced settings isn't for FireFox).

1- Click on "My Controls" in the upper right corner of the screen, next to "X New Messages", "View New Posts" and "My Assistant.

Then, scroll down to "Options" and select "Email Settings".

From there, unbox the last option:
"Enable 'Email Notification' by default?
Enabling this option will automatically subscribe you to any topic you start or reply to."

Your problem should be solved.

2 - It's not really an issue and I like it like that myself. I guess it's a matter of taste.

Then can anyone tell me how to get new windows opened by FireFox to get into a new tab, not open a whole new window?

Please?

get tabbrowser extentions for firefox (i don't have the link at hand) as all my windows open in tabs only due to an option in that

They both fine. I don't get enough emails so this fill up my inbox. :ok:

And since I hardly ever (pretty much never) visit the main site I like the forum opening in a new window. Feels like a whole new website. :ok:

I agree with the new window issue. If I want it to open in a new window I can just middle-click it (in case of Firefox and mozilla) or rightclick and use the context menu (in case of Internet Explorer). It should really be the users choice.

The layout isn't being questioned.
