Are there any free virtual drives I can use to mount an ISO or cd image? I do not like daemon tools because it makes my virus and spyware protection go nuts with warnings. And I can't afford Alcohol 120.

CloneCD.
PowerISO.
And MS has also a virtual drive applic, you'll find it @MS download site.

But don't expect a kind of daemon tools, it's pretty 'basic'.

And of course the usual answer: run Linux.

MagicISO (http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-magicdisc-overview.htm) seems to be freeware and pretty complete, but I never used it, so can't say much about it.

CloneCD is pretty simple, but does well enough for most things.

CD's are cheap i just burn them. I wilol probably delete whatever i am using of the computer only to load it again later. Plus everything runs as it should.

blablablabla.......
MagicDisc is freeware.

Says otherwise.
He didn't asked about ISO creators, but virtual drives, not the same I thought.

Anyway, I really don't know what that virtual drive from MagicISO is worth.
I even wonder if it works swell without the full MagicISO creator installed.
