Also there was a game by Sid Meire where you were a spy or something and had to investigate and go to embassies and mi5 n stuff. anything like that would be good. Cheers

There's a relatively new game called 'Europa Universalis'. It's like a much more complex Civilization, but not quite as "colourful". It may seem to be dull based on outward appearances, but it wasn't bad at all.

Uhm... Hmm. There is something else that was really good. I just can't put my finger on it quite yet. :oh:

hey thanks for the help. I found a good one called Conflict: Middle East Political Simulator.
I'm trying to find a place to download some others i've read about. These include,

Diplomacy
Balance of Power
Crisis in the Kremlin

Any help with these or other suggestions are appreciated.

Crisis in the Kremlin is fun, though I usually only survive 2 years before being impeached. I think i got it from HotUD

Diplomacy- Its pre-WW1 era. You get to be either the French, British, Germans, Italians, Austrians, Ottomans, or Russians, make alliances with other nations, or destroy them, it's pretty fun. HOWEVER Diplomacy is actually a board game, I've only found online multyplayer version of it.

Balance of Power- I had the liberity of actually talking to the guy who made this game, and he's made a new version (BoP: 21st Century) If you search "Storytron" in google it should take you to the site you can download it from. In BoP you can be either the USA, or Soviets and try to gain as much prestige for your nation without causeing Nuclear War(!) Sadly, the game only have 8 turns, to represent the last 8 years of the Cold War

In my opinion, all games are good, if you like Political Sims (which you do if you like C:MEPS (Which is a really great game)
