alone in the dark 1

:( I just recently dowloaded alone in the dark 1. My problem is that I get to the Infogrames screen and It's frozen.
What could be the problem.

please tell us what kind of computer you have (setup, windows version, did you use dosbox or not?). Without information like that it is hard for us to help you.

I have Windows 2000 Pro. I did not use Dosbox.

Alone in the Dark is WinXP compatible so it should run in Win2000. I have no experience with Alone in the Dark so I can't tell you what the exact problem is but as a work around you could try using DOSBox. If that results in the same problem it could be an error duuring the download. If that is the case try downloading again.
