has anyone done it to their xbox yet? it's well worth it :D.
I'm currently running the latest SVN version of XBMC as my dashboard with the MC360 theme :D. Plus i can actually play dos games on there with Dosxbox (http://xport.xbox-scene.com/) (abandoned xbox port of dosbox). if anyone wants me to, i'll post up a compatability list some point of all the stuff i tried.

I've softmodded around 10 xboxes, no failures either. My xbox that my brother currently has is still working... I wanna play it :)

I use UnleashX as my dash! I really like to play N64 on it!

i find unleashx good for functionality that xbmc doesn't have (FTP client for example) but it's best suited to being a secondary dashboard in my opinion.

I often thought about modding my Xbox. But I always regarded it as kind of uncomfortable to take my box to my brother who knows a guy who is capable of doing it.

My brother's box is quite cool. I'd still love to have a box with so many possibilities....

it's well worth it. especially when you can play discworld on it :D and if your going to get it modded, try to have XBMC as the primary dashboard since it plays a ton of media formats the 360 even struggles with.

My xbox original is coming home soon, I think I'll play Mashed on it... the most underated xbox game out there. If you have 3 other friends to play with, you'll have a blast!
