hi, trying to install crusader no regret using dosbox from its cd. im running windows vista

ive been told to mount the cd rom etc, so this is what ive done.

my cd rom drive is e:\

[dosbox]

mount e e:\ -t cdrom
e:\
install

at this point the install screen comes up, and i want to install it to the c drive, which has 33 gb free but yet its saying i have 0 mb free space, but its recognising the source path as e:\ and destination as c:\..

help!!

Read the DOSBox readme. There's a "freesize" (or was it "freespace"? I don't remember...) command that can fix this sort of error.

And read this:
http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/showthread.php?t=14406
Especially the part that's about mounting a virtual C:
Those should be your first lines, then your CD mount.
To get your game to install:
mount c c:\oldgames
mount d e:\ -t cdrom
d:
install

C:\oldgames must exist, of course.
If you have a partitioned HD (as your cd seems to be E:) and would rather have a virtual drive on D: it will be:
mount c d:\olgames

thanks dosraider ur a legend.

it worked like a charm :P, although i did do everything right except to create the regret game file first, or oldgames in ur example!

thanks again man!
