and you are totally convinced this upgrade is worth the money?

you want to get a slightly powerfull processor and a little better graphics card.

well if oyu need an upgrade just to the processor upgrade. will probably go on the same motherboard.

ok since i can't edit - how many RAM do you have? double that and you will feel the computer gain on speed substantially even without these upgrades...

Definitely the processor and the graphic card will work on the same motherboard. There are also slightly better motherboards.
the upgrade does not seem worthy (everything is slightly better)
I agree you should maybe think on putting more ram if you want to see changes. you can also check before, which monitor do you have, maybe there is something really better.

.............512MB GDDR2

help? or suggestions?

More Ram.

If you want better performance, get more/better RAM.

Depending on your motherboard/OS the suggestions CAN be:
-add one 512MB GDDR2 (resulting in 1GB of Ram )
-Replace with Two 1GB modules (RESULTING IN 2GB RAM!)

Should be enough overall.

You will just need the Ca$h .

dude, the "512MB GDDR2" is from graphics card.

that's why i asked him how much ram does he have now.

still you are correct - doubling RAM will speed up a lot and much more than brand new fancy graphics card.
