Damn this game looks good  only problem is i'm sure my current machine may struggle a litte to meet the specs when they are released.

its a new game sure but amazing to see how far the environment has changed in games starting with barely anything you could manipulate / pick up to games like this where you can really interact. I just hope that when I finally do get to play it the gameplay matches the looks!

Wow, the game looks awesome :w00t:
It's a shame it has been delayed till early 2008, but I don't mind to wait if you get a high-quality game experience.

I'm hoping that Assassins Creed turns out to be as good as it looks. It reminds me of Thief in some ways, which was a series I really liked. I hope they keep focus on the stealth stuff and it doesn't turn out to be just another mash-the-attack-button thing.

hmm i wonder xbox360 is equivalent to what kind of PC?

anyway i am sure it will still have to run on a bit lower end maschines if they want to sell a lot of copies.

Look at Far cry - long distance view that needs 700Mhz processor or something like that.

anyway i wonder if they will deliver the AI they promissed. or will it be just another Hitman... Hitman isn't bad but once you go through it one or two times it becomes quite boring...

I put great hopes in this game!
It doesn't matter when it's released, it's important that it's 100% finished when it's released! <_<

I concur. Buy a xbox 360. And then upgrade your pc :max:

Looking forward to this game aswell, will be buying it on 360 though, mainly because I wont have to upgrade all the time, and that I¨m becoming obsessed about my gamerscore:D

Yeah - I am actually thinking about starting an AA type group for gamerscore addicts. I've played some pretty bad games just to boost it up. BTW - rent "Gun" for 360 - easiest 1000 points you'll ever get for 2 days of work LOL

Really? havent even considered that game yet, but if its that simple i may just do that. hehe. There should also be more free games on marketplace with gamerscores to open. that would have been nice. Now I'm milking Halo 3 on Legendary. But that takes time :tai:

Gun was fun, actually, just very very easy IMHO - it's rare that I get a game just for points, but it has happened a couple times. I got my just desserts though - bought 3N because it looked good, and I haven't ever been able to beat the first boss LOL - guess payback is a ... snitch, isn't it?

Reviews are somewhat mixed though. Most of them remark that the gameplay (especially the swordfighting) is somewhat flawed, and the quests are simple and repetative. Also, it's apparently only the setup for the story, if that sort of thing bothers you.

I'm going to look into it once it hits the PC, and I'm hoping for a demo.

well there weren't much of complicated sword battles in first thief niether and it was so good

The problem noted is that the swordfighting is so overpowered, there's no need for stealth or anything at all. You can just pull off a single counterattack on all your enemies, and slaughter your way to the end :P

The sword battles in Thief were last resort, I only had about 5 sword fights and I only won once.
Assassin's Creed apparently has much more emphasis on this, so it looks like it could be far more detrimental.
