I used to play this old game some odd 13 years ago or something along these lines, but i can't remember the name of it.

I think a little description is in place:
It was a game about advancing from level to level, to my rememberance it did not have multiplayer, it was about securing your village and mission goals, your main ressource was cows, which you would have to herd from the map and put in pens, i remember phrases from the game like some women would say: "Here smelly cattle", the enemies was everything from giant bees to skeleton soldiers, the cows had a tendancy to fall in love with male members once they herded them, generally just a whacky game.

If anyone know this game or would like some info, please post here, and if you know where to get that game it would be awesome aswell. I have searched wide and far for it, i have even searched through all games here on abandonia 3 times.

Thank you for your time, and for the mods, thank you for this great site.

Stronghold (http://www.abandonia.com/games/en/642/Stronghold.htm) perhaps?

Nope, it's an rts, where you mainly direct you citizens around, to my recollection cows and apples were the main foodsource, there might have been more. Then you could build guilds and train your citizens into macemen and the like there.

Some things reminds me about the horde:
http://www.abandonia.com/games/en/454/Horde.htm
But others don't fit right in, are you sure your memory doesn't trick you?

Looks VERY much like it, but that isn't it either, game looks great though :P
The game was story based, and you had to go herd cows and once you had two, they could breed and make you more cows, and then later on when you had the materials you could build apple farms and guilds, the cow fencing had gates too, so you could actually use them as city perimiter :P

OK, the only game with cows and apples that springs to my mind is Sim Farm (also on the site).

Not it either, as said, couldn't find it on this site.
The most remarkable thing about the game, was what the townsfolk were saying, they were always saying all sorts of wierd stuff, and the womin were big boobed blondes and the boys were horndogs :P
Very odd game, but tons of fun :P

And suddenly my ol'brain gets in overdrive ....
I know this nutty game ....
Would I tell .... or wouldn't I ...?
That's the question.

Will give the answer if by next week nobody found out what the game is.

Naaaaaa, would be fun to see you beg for it, but I'm a softy.
It's Beasts & Bumpkins by Worldweaver Productions Ltd, a Windows game.

*Edit:
HotUs has it. (75 MB + manual)
Some peeps have all the luck.

Released 10 years ago, minus 2 years or so to lay his hands on a pirate version, he's played it approx 8 years ago.
Far from 13.

Thx dosraider, and yes that was the one, i didden't have the pirated version, i had the original, on release date i think even, so let's jsut say 9 years. Well i said if my memory serves me correct, i could just remember it was from a period in my life that had a spanning of 5 years, beginning 13years ago, hence i just shot out that number ;)
And again thx again, LOVED that game it is so awesome :P

You're welcome, and about that 10 years, was more a bit of a laugh@ your expence.

In fact I'm amazed it took me that long to realise what game you were looking for, I had a good time playing that weird little game in the past.

And about the 'some guys have all the luck' 'cause it's on HotU, pffffffffffffffffffffrt 75Mb@2 Kb/s. Better you than me, I pass downing something that big from HotU.
My excuses if I hurt someones feelings.

@dosraider
no worries.
Do you know if this game is still esa protected or if it is indeed freeware or abondonware?
Once i find it in my cd collection, or on the web for free, i would love to make my 4/4 connection available to those who would want it, IF it is not still esa protected.
And yes it really is a great game with tons of fun hour spent on it :P

As it is available on HotU for download (can be it's a rip), I suppose it isn't ESA, but it's pretty recent, only 10 years, so not really ready to be cataloged as abandonware, I presume. Usually a game must be released at least 15 years or so before it becomes abandonware (can be wrong here).

Well does anyone know, where to find out, cos i really would like to be able to share this game once i find it, because it is so awesome :)

It's (or was) distributed by EA
http://www.answers.com/topic/electronic-arts?cat=biz-fin
Not much more info on moby:
http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/beasts-bumpkins
That's about all I can find, but there is somewhere a list here on Abandonia.... somewhere.

*Edit
Is been asked before ( good search function here ^_^ )

Would you prefer: "When Hell freezes over" instead?
