I am replaying w/ combinations I have not used before -
all-summong druid w/ that cyclone elemental power
assasin w/ martial arts almost exclusively
Necromancer w/ only summoning powers
It's definitely a bit different than what I'm used to playing. Anybody have anything they've used that they thought was fun?

Also, has anybody ever played Sacred? It's like Diablo but when I went to a server, it was COMPLETELY empty. Just wondering if anybody even still plays it?

Yeah I was replaying diablo 2 a while ago.

I did a summoning druid aswell but with bear buff instead of cyclone.

Assassin will martial arts is great too. I didnt use any traps at all. Great for cutting through the masses.

Its hard to beat the barbarian with 2 swords and frenzy and amazon of course.

Sacred has no soul. I purchased it in a reduce bin at a low price, and I liked it... For the first few 20 minutes. After that, it's slightly worse than Diablo 2 but without the great story... So not that great.

I'm playing Diablo 2 again, but I never play on BattleNet. I always play with friends, and my main goal is to collection items. I have quite a few set items now, I even got the full Vidala set and started a Bowmazon with it... However, since I find firing bows and xbows in the game to be quite (very) dull, I didn't played it too much...

I also started a Barbarian with the complete berzeker set. But I don't like the Barbarian style, for me it's way too much "aim and click as fast as you can" gameplay that most other characters don't have...

The main grudge I have with D2 is the expention... What a play killer. It's quite bland, extremely repetitive especially with all the ennemies always looking like the same, and Baal is not even that hard to fight. Duriel is by far the most dangerous end boss in D2 for several reasons, and I always felt a great deal of enjoyment to finnaly find ways to kick his behind without dying.

My highest character to date is a level 73 Champion Spearazon. Please remember that I only play single player... ;)

Sacred was fun for a little while, but it becomes boring and self repeating quite quickly. I tried to play it in LAN with my brother but it was so horribly buggy that some main quests couldn't be even completed.

yeah, i actually liked the single player sacred - and the world was incredible - but i think that the only way it would have major replat value would be mostly PvP and 16 or so allowable players per game.

The first time I played multi D2 I went w/ an assasin w/ mostly the blade traps. By the time I got to 2nd difficulty level, I sucked BAD. So I restarted and tried a few other things. However, I agree, D2 is getting pretty boring. I'm wondering what else out there would be good multiplayer?

Well, thank you for your opinion I suppose. A few reasons would be nice so that others may critique and comment.

BTW - How do I get in trouble for spamming once about being happy I finally hit 50 posts? Just saying...... :whistling:

Will I have to get the attention of an admin to a thread for the second time in a week? What's the problem with everybody lately? Today on the road, half the drivers were crazy. I even saw one drive thru in the middle of two cars on a two lane fastway...

... and it's not even the full moon! :P
