I've recently purchased a copy of virtools 4, it's quite a program!
Just by reading a few pages of the tutorial, I was able to learn how to make a 3d box fall to the ground and collide with it without knowing any programming. All of it was mostly done with scripts, and can be done if you know how to manipulate them.
Although I plan on developing games and charging a reasonable price for their development. I figured that when they become abandonware they will be a hit.
The only thing in question is that I need a programmer who is good enough at c++ to create an executable to run my game as a program. When a virtools project is compiled, it is created in a virtools slideshow format, and can only be viewed via internet explorer.
