Hi everyone.

Well, im trying to run some games under the boot disk u guys provide and i also tried to install the sound driver.

Point is:
It says i have to copy the files to "c:\dosdrv". Thta done, i restarted my PC.
But i doesnt work. After a few mins i found out that the directories and files i create/install/copy on win XP just wont appear on DOS shell. But the funny thing is that the directories of the games show up just fine. So, i tried using the old "mkdir" command on DOS shell to have a "dosdrv" dir but i cant copy the files of the sound drivers under this DOS shell...

I dunno if i was clear, but could any of u guys help me out with this one?

thanks!

This files / directory seem to have the hiiden + system attribute on them.
You can type in CMD the command dir like this to see those files / directories: dir /a:h /a:s
And btw., you should remove those attributes from this directory in Windows to ease the work up. ;)

If you are using XP, then you probably have NTFS partition, which can't be seen trough DOS. What do you need is partition that's FAT16 or FAT32.
