Same for me, I especially loved the fast Italy Circuit, just set a new record 1.12.4 :)

Played it a lot on my C64 and loved it. This PC version must be even better (at least faster)

Nice game for its time, i play it a lot on my C64 (but now i am more on the PC version :oh:).
But this is another one that degrades over time, the commodore version is much better than the PC, ion which it is very easy to win.
Now, it is ine of those that i play when i want a simple and funny game.

I used to play this on the C64. The DOS version is a lot faster, plus no long load times. :)

Why don't you try those 2 out before asking something with an obvious answer?

GPCGA.exe uses CGA graphics while GPEGA.exe uses EGA graphics, I recommend following the sage advice of Tomekk on this issue.

It was ok, but Indy 500 was a much better game,

Indeed, this is a cool racing game, i was 12-13 when i was playing it as a kid in 1990-91 and later in my old pc. I still have it in my collection thanks to abandonware sites :perv:

I'll check whether my Hit Squad budget version has a manual/quick reference card included.

I played this game for the first time on a XT. We had a orange monochrome monitor. This name really never gets old, one of my all time favorites!
