it is not the same feeling any more..... I remember this game considered to be one of the best....we had lower standards those days though... however it is very nice to have it in my HD.... somehow it is like a photograph, reminds me of a lot.....

Could be wrong, don't believe me until you try these ones:
2MMWXMMMQ (sub attack)
9BNSQMMM (training ground)
9BBR#MMMF (night strike)
YVVXSNMMH (puloso city)
YVC-XVMM# (snow fortress)
MCXDXVMM& (river raid)
MC2NHXMM4 (mountains)
MCLBP2MMB (return home)
Please test them, in case they are wrong so people can know :tomato:

it means your CPU is too fast for this game and you need to slow it down with Moslo or some other appropriate slowdown programme.
isn't there e a utility that fixes that ? tppatch it's called i think.

You guys really need to get Urban Strike. That was the best of the three, even though Desert Strike and this one really rock the house.

You'd think that whoever made this version of the game would at least spell "armor" correctly...
Oh, and the three sites you defend in the first mission aren't embassies. Heh... Europeans don't know anything about Americans, and yet they feel they have the right to harrass them when they go to Europe.

Is there any way to access a map like in the Genesis version in either this or Desert Strike? ...'Cause I can't seem to find a way.

There is no download link; the game is protected by the ESA.
More information about the ESA here (http://www.theesa.com/about/index.php).

WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD JUNGLE STRIKE?
DO YOU HAVE THE URL PLEASE?
doesn't work at abandonia.com
NO.
PrejudiceSucks

It is ESA protected and any attempt to get it or ask for it is essentially warez. The same goes for giving links to sites that do not have permission to give it away, or contact through e-mails. Do not even try, it's heavily frowned upon.

It's a bit confusing because it say "Download, and have fun." at the end of article. Obviously there is no such download.

It used to be for download, once. Unfortunately, not anymore.

Well, I just picked up a copy of this game because of my fond memories of Urban Strike on the Genesis. I'm having some trouble, though. I install the game, but when I try to run it, DOSBox tells me that it is "Not running from CD-ROM." I have an awful feeling that the disc may be damaged (it has many small marks on it, but I've seen worse). If anyone can tell me whether I'm just doing something wrong, or if it's a lost cause, I would appreciate it.

It sucked so much I returned it to the store....

Did you mount your CD drive correctly?
Please refer to this FAQ for more info about using your optical drive with DosBox. (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?page=Internal+Programs%2FMount#CDROM)

I have Desert strike on my Sega Genesis and I've played Jungle Strike when my friend got it for his birthday...For that one person who had a problem of running into the boxes in the hovercraft, I found that the easiest way to pick them up is to charge at the box from about 1/4th of a screen away, and get off the throttle so you coast head first into the box. I remember my friend found out if you really don't like that hovercraft, using ALL of your missiles from both the chopper and the hovercraft will destroy the bridge, allowing you to use the chopper instead, once you reload its weapons.

A great sequel to Desert Strike.
The different types of terrians (Desert, snow, jungle, city, etc...) make each of the levels unique and more fun to play.
