Hi there

I have bought the collections of Larry, Police Quest, Space Quest and King's quest.

I was really exited when they were released here in May, but I can't play them on my computer and I don't understand why ?

The games re-released with a change so they can be run on Windows Xp, cause of the Dosbox simulator, but on my Computer whenever I wish to play a game - I press lanch on one of the games - The DosBox apears and shutdowns again and nothing happens ?
Why is that ?

I have tried it on other computers that uses Xp and also have SP2 installed on their computer and they can play them with no problems ?

The only thing they do is to installe the games and press fx. Launch Police Quest 1 and the Dosbox program runs qickly in the background and the games starts.

I have checked my cmp for adware etc. and there isn't any dirt on my cmp. ?

Please help me i don't understand it.

Thanks

Michael

Maybe it's because your file system on this computer is NTFS and on the others where the games run well it's FAT32? Just a wild guess.

well its realy difficult to tell like this why s that so. but if you cant get the games to run via 'automatized' dosbox you can always try to do it manually. download the latest version (you can find it in programs on the site) and read the easy tutorial. if you have any problems ask away=)

Right-click on the shortcut you use for any of the games, select "Properties" and tell us what's there, make an image out of it so we can see it.

All other users also uses NTFS

To the other question I don't launch the game from any shortcut. I launch it directly from the disc or the program as the other did it.

if you say that it launches dosbox, i guessed there s probably some kind of autorun when you click "launch". will you type us list of directories on the cd?

Maybe the problem lies in your hardware?
Please post the specs of the problem machine and the other two.
