Can someone tell me if and when the game will become abandonware?
I think Activision already said some games may be abandonware. Or is Zombie Inc. responsible?

I bought the game a year or two ago off of Amazon and it came from the company Xplosiv, so I doubt it will be any time soon. And the oldwarez list has it listed as sold.

Yes, been there, seen it. :ok: But I don't we can expect Mr Åaberg (Tom Henrik) to keep everything always up to the latest date, right? :sneaky:
Plus, this doesn't answer the question thoroughly, cause I want to know a timeframe in that we can wait for ZN to become abandonware. :sneaky:

I remember playing a new copy back in the early-mid 1990's so it's probably got a couple of years left before it becomes abandoned.
I hope not though, because for some reason I never got around to finishing it, and my computer today would be so much more capable of running it than the one I used "back in the day." I'd love to be able to play this again.
Heh, I'd forgotten about the "hellosailor" thing :)

CD Access has it as sold out.
Please consult Mobygames as to the publisher and then look their name up in the list of ESA companies posted in the rules sticky of this forum.

Heh, well it's number one on the infamous ESA list. Looks like you might have to wait a little while longer yet Icewolf :)

Aww, maaan.... <_<
One more thing: I didn't look it up - but aren't there any Activision games abandoned yet? I think so.

And maybe the reason why MechWarrior is abandoned would be transferable to ZN? In some years probably?

That is most definitely possible.

And would that be a 10 year or a 15 year rule? CD access says "SOLD OUT" and so says gamechecker, everthing I found on amazon were used exemplars. Soooo.... :sneaky:
All I need is the time-span that has to be passed. :w00t:

The list of companies is maintained in the rules sticky of this forum.
Activision is an ESA member = 15 year protection period.
