Please help?! I've played ttdl only once and after that I can't run the game anymore. When trying to open the ttdl map, I get the message: access denied! When trying to delete the game I get the same message.

get Unlocker (http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/) and use that

Thanks JJXB, great software to have, but unfortunality in this case it doesn't work . It says it will delete the map the next restart, but it doesn't...

Restart Windows to Safe Mode. Then delete the game.

Deleting in Safe Mode doesn't work. Any other suggestions?

This is by no means a natural behavior.
Scan for viruses.

Easy solution.

1. Install the version from Abandonia "transport tycoon deluxe" in a different directory. (Other that the one you have).
2. Run it. (Use VDMSound if you have too)
3. Same problem? Then "format c:" and reinstall windows...
4. Redo point 1 and 2.
5. Still same problem? That´s impossible :)

reset all the file attributes to make sure they are not mistakenly set to read only somehow?
