I know this is sacrilegious here, but I've only ever played the demo. :tomato: the demo came from a PC Authority magazine. (Aussie computer mag.) I liked some aspects of the game, great graphics, humorous dialogue, but I had reservations, too, so haven't played the full game yet.

Don't worry! I've never played the game at all.

Thought about it loads of times but never actually got round to it.

Maybe one day........

Well 6 or so years ago when I was about 8...... wait thats 9 years ago. Anyway we bought the first two then, but then that computer broke and we didn't have a computer for 5 or so years then we got this one and we lost our copy so I had to find an illegal copy. Still searching for the second.

I got 1, 2 and 3 on PC and 4th on PS2. Hate to use gamepad to control it, but still like the game.

In my opinion, number 2 is the best of the series with number one next, then number 4, hey are all good but number 3 is the least good of them.

Got MI2 from a german Pc mag. (was the CD version)

About MI1, let's just say it was kinda undiscloused source, but unfortunately I have lost the disks so I'm still hunting for a good VGA version (maybe the one with the same interface as MI2)

So am I. I found a version of the original. But I'd like to find the one with the MI2 interface.

I'm also still looking for MI2. Can't seem to find a full version of it anywhere. :not_ok:

Simon the Sorcerer is still sold or at least not abandoned by it's company, as far as I remember...

I got Monkey Island 1,2,3 & 4 from undisclosed source.
First I played 1 and 2 at my friends house, then I got my hands on 3 and later 4.
Then long time later, i got no 1 and 2.

I got MI 1 & 2 from undiscloseable sources. The first versions I found were in Italian, which is not my native lingua, but since I'm a Yank studying Italian that actually made them more fun. After a little more searching I found English language versions.

I also have MI3 from an undiscloseable source. I love the artwork and the writing is very funny, but for my feeble mind some of the puzzles are near impossible to solve without cheating with a walkthrough.

Also, I have the same problem many other Windows XP users have, and that is getting the cutscenes to run. I've come across many possible solutions to this problem, but so far none have worked, so I'm thinking of buying the MI set that Lucas sells on-line so I can see them -- although I'm not happy about paying $$ to Signore Lucas after the last three Star Wars movies!

Seeing as most of the users here are bad-smelling, law-breaking warez-dealers I have locked this topic.

I will talk with the other admins about deleting it.

I don't like the idea of all of you downloading games that are still sold.
