Possibly one of the most succesfull and controversial series of all time.

Im currently finishing my GTA collection: I already have the first one, the second one, london add-on and Vice City. Tomorrow, I will buy both GTA III and San Andreas and woo! I have the whole series (for PC).

I heard that there is possibility to play this game on internet. How?

There is a mod for Vice City to play it on multiplayer I can't remmember the name exactly, i wasn't interested on that stuff.

multi-theft auto for GTA3 and Vice City (i use it myself sometimes) and there's a version for SA on pc as well :) and i think you can use the original online as well somehow. link to the homepage here (http://www.multitheftauto.com/)

However, the deathmatch possibility is only in GTA III and Vice City. There's only racing mode in SA.

When I read the wiki-article, I found out about SAMP (San-Andreas MultiPlayer). It has DM and some other neat mode's. However, when I tried to run it, I get an multiple errors.

I also had some problems when I tried to download the client, I couldnt extract it cause the zip file was corrupted. However, I could download the exe file.
