Adom Vs Nethack

I cast my vote to Nethack. I'ts much harder and it ha's lots of good fantasy-thingies.

I'd have to say ADOM. I tryed Nethack, and found it to be way too complicated for nothing. Not to say that I actually consider Nethack graphics to be inferior to ADOM...

I can't decide.. I love both of them for different reasons. ADOM has a kinda interesting world and a lot of cool things you can do, and Nethack is more random, but at times even more detailed in the things you can do. They're both great games though.

I see nobody has claimed to have beaten either game yet :P

Oh, does anyone know if Thomas Biskup is still working on JADE (the sequel to ADOM)? It looked like it could be really awesome, but I don't know how close it is to being finished or even if he's still working on it...

I played both games little but ADOM is much better for me. NetHack is just random dungeon crawling, ASCII tunnels and no story whatsoever. ADOM features story, quests, outdoors with cute ASCII landscapes... It's greatly superior in my opinion.

I like Nethack more.

... but I still haven't beaten it. I always get a YASD. Like cockratrices. Or whatever they're called.
