Just look at Titan, Kosta and Muaddib. They are some of the oldest members in the forum, and they have really low postcounts.

This is because they don't say anything unless it needs to be said. So their posts are rare, but of high quality.

I agree with the statemant above, still this is not just the help section for the games, it's a forum. And people have converstions, debates and ... at forums.
Sorry if the people who made this wonderful site feel differently, but the fact is, that some of us like to talk a lot (and we got to know each other - so some teasing and response to that is ineveidable).
It's just not 'stricktly old dos games' coversation.
Competing for the most posts is silly, I've been checking my number of daily posts a bit (because R Havell said I even have a record of over 100 posts - the second day I joined the forum) but I have no desire to outpost anybody.
I might joke about it for a while, but that's it. I only wish to comunicate with the world - and I do try to contribute (so far 5 of my games are up there - I did all the reviews and snapshots myself as well, not to mention that I'm an active member in the VIP section too).

Talking about posting, this has been about the most intresting and comfortable forums ever (brown nose). But really, people are friendly and helping here and the topics of discussion (wich is old games) is pleasant to everybody.

I think the highest post count I've ever had is about 1500 posts in one finnish forums in two years. It's a hell of a work I can say that. The oldest members have something like 24000 posts wich is quite impressive (and depressive). ;)

Currently Im active in about four forums including this one.

I have a life, but it's not about going out any more (the wild parties - that lasted for days - are behind me). Most of the time at home my coputer's turned on anyway (instead of the radio - got 65Gs of MP3 just on HD) and I only got cable internet recently, so now it's abandonia and music. I just go through the posts and if I see something worth replying - I do it. Besides ever since I joined my better half has been here with me only for three days (first she was visiting her folks, now she's in Germany) - she's a member too BTW. When she gets back I guess I won't have spend that much time here anymore (but I'll still be active - and will keep sending in games and reviews -> unles you think I should rather have what you call A LIFE).

Despite what a few people thought it really didn't have much to do with being in the top ten..but more to do with the fact that the day I registered a million things went wrong with my pc and I kept posting questions and replys. Due to all that I moved up pretty quick.
