Has anyone played this? It looks very very strange. The painted art is very cool. I just came across it at my job (it's been a slow day) and will see if I can download it from home later.

I had a demo of that once upon a time, it did look pretty cool, also kind of an adult game.
I remember just starting the game, you have a dream of a woman sitting on your lap, taking off her top, and then mutating or something....it was a while ago.

The game is 344 MB...and i`m downloading now at a speed of 40 kb/s ...and that's so slowwwwwwww :sick: :sick:
Must download for more then 2 hours...and all that time i cant play ET on the internet :not_ok:

How did you get the link to download? Been looking for this one, Noctropolis, for yeeeears, ever since I sold my copy back in 1994/95 I've regretted it. Can't for the life of me understand why I didn't keep it - or finish it!
Please please, can somebody provide me with a link for downloading it? MANY MANY MANY thanx =)

Here is it...you can choose english or Deutsch download at the bottom of the page...but the servers are not always online..so when it's offline look another day for it..maybe then it's online :angel:

Anyways, I get a strange message saying "Error: No referrer string found. Please enable referrer logging for your browser and your firewall." when I try to download. Is it this you mentioned?

hey, guys, have you ever heard of an old adventure game called NOCTROPOLIS???

yeah you're right...it's not that great game anyway, I just have a personal obsession with it heheh

If I remember correctly it had to do with vampires, it is an adventure style game, I'm not sure but the name may have been necropolis or something like that. Anyway I was just curious as to if that may be abandonware and if you might could get it. Thanks

You could get NES and SNES games (amongst others) from there, and Nintendo has outright banned this kind of downloads.

Noctropolis is a CDROM games and I'm not sure if its abandonware or not, but its a rare and hard to find game. In case its abandonware then I have a cdrip in my oldgames collection, which is a little smaller than 19mb in size.

Ahem, you can say it is protected, but by no means is The Good Old days a warez page, nor dedicated to roms, even thought there are a few. Of course it contains software illegal to download, the same as Abandonia and every abandonware page, but I find it better-mannered delete the link and put "The game isn't abandonware" than putting that generic note.

If a site has downloads of ESA-protected games, we consider it a warez-site by definition.

I didn't say the site was dedicated to ROMs, I said it had ROMs on it. There's a difference there ;)
And as I have to keep strict rules in order to keep the deal I have got going with ESA (10 and 15 year rule), I have to do my part. Otherwise the 10-15 rule is jeopardized, and AB could (once again) loose a couple of hundred games. I try my best to avoid that.

If the developer or publisher's parent company has unlimited ESA protection, then said developer/publisher's games are also under unlimited ESA protection. Ergo, since Bethesda Softworks now owns Flashpoint Productions, all of Flashpoint Productions' games, including Noctropolis, are under unlimited ESA protection.
