I've always wondered. How come The Underdogs host a lot of games that are ESA protected like Goblins, LBA 1 & 2, Pepper's Adventure in time. Do they have permission to host them or something

They have permissions for some of them. But some they host as plain flat-out warez.

Yes I wondered this too. Much games on Abandonia that are ESA protected I downloaded from Underdogs.
Why can't Abandonia get that permission?

Abandonia is constantly trying to re-obtain the permissions.

As I said, HOTU also host a fair number of warez - and they are completely aware of their status.

I wish someone would get permission for the Sierra games, since the abandoned game room died......

I doubt HOTU knows that they're hosting protected games, or that they really care.
They just throw it on the site, and if it's requested to be removed it is.

It's way too big of a site for miss Underdogs to personally try to hunt down everything like that.

Altough the second assumption seems correct, the first is wrong. According to my sources, there are several games HOTU hosts despite being well aware that they are protected.
