But I've been looking around for Dune 2000...is it abandoned or not? If so, can someone possibly offer some assistance in this monumentally frustrating search? Thanks.

I Have the cds but i dont know if its abandonware yet and im not sure how id get it to you.

We have an Oldwarez List (http://www.abandonia.com/main.php?nav=awlist) at the main page which you can use to look for the status of old games.

As you can see yourself there, Dune 2000 is still sold. It is not Abandonware.

Westwood doesn't exist enymore ( i think ) and the game has a multyplayer feature too :)

Westwood hasn't just vanished, They've been bought out by Electronic Arts, along with associated copyrights.
As a game published by an ESA subsidiary, Dune 2000 is under 10 year protection period. Since it was published in September 1998, the protection will expire next month.
Then we'll still need to check if the game isn't by chance still sold somewhere (for a 1998 title, that's quite likely).

Yeah. I made a little mistake with the +1 years thing. I thought that was the procedure to add +1 to 10 or 15 years or whatever amount of time it was protected.
