it is darker than batman could ever hope to be, but in a funny way
you think crower is wierd, wait till I post The Miser
his eyes are silver cause he has the powers of the bad guy from Terminator 2
I have been drawing this comic for about 7 years now
the characters have evolved greatly since then

My favourite character is that good one who looks like a lion....and the lighthouse remembers me the cool atmosphere of Monkey Island, expecially the clouds....

the lions name is Adam
he's your average deadpan character but with a sense of humor
he's the genius of the comic and can build anything out of anything
what did you mean by style?
did you mean the characters or the lighthouse?
the lighthouse is supposed to be CMI-styled :D
it took me a week to get as far as I did :wall:
but that was way back when I first started drawing
I didn't have any speed-em-up techniques back then :wall:
the characters are kinda, well I guess they are my own style :D
Squasher was the first character for the comic I ever drew
back then he had bowling ball arms and legs, an evil mustache, a tail, and a period and an upside down short vowel sign for eyes.

for example, the quite large line for borders, the lively colours and so on

As for technique, I'd like to know how do u make them.....
I think u draw them with pencil, then scan and colour with some program, but I could as well be wrong......so tell me, please! :bye:

Not an update this time.
Only posting to say that I have decided to make an AGS adventure game based on my comic. :D On the side, I have also decided to do a Paper Mario fangame.

If you want an advice, you should resize the whole page to a smaller format. The casual visitor would probably get tired of waiting and go away. Which is a pity, 'cause the comic is cool.

Alright, that's what I will do.
I actually colored the first page mostly to show the main colors of the characters.
As the first page is 1.5 MBs, I might be forced to just post the rest of the pages non-colored. :cry:

Your lion(?) character is my favorite, he's rather Conker-ish, but with your own style.

I love the portrait of your Dad. It was so sensitive I think I know something about him now. He seems to be a clever sort of person who misses nothing. You couldn't put much over him. He also has twinkling kind of eyes so I'm guessing he likes to laugh a lot and has a good sense of humour. I bet he's really proud of his portrait.

about inking: i'm not experienced with it myself, but i don't thing that some basic
equipment is too expensive.

have a look around in the web. there are many tutorials about inking comics, and

The truth, The color of magic, and um....the one where um...rincewind has fallen off the earth and landed back on the disc and he must get back to the unseen university to say that spell with the other spells in that book before discworld is destroyed...was that the light fantastic??? I plan to read the books concerning death and the watch next. Seeing as those are the only ones I've read, I guess thats the reason I like rincewind best.
