I was tired of that damn flash ads, so I asked my friend about any other ICQ clients and he advised me to try out Miranda. That's cool prog, so now I'm using it. What choise is yours?

There's also ICQ lite, and other multicients like Trillian, but yeah I also use Miranda for ICQ, it's also great because you can use it for other messngers like MSN, Yahoo etc.

flash in icq lite brinks lots of functions which other icq clients can't like multi-chat rooms and flash drawn avatars

I use Trillian...altough I don't like it for not enabling Danny to see when I'm online in MSN.

Meh, just use ICQ. I'm trying to find something to disable ads on it, though.

.:EDIT:.

@Abi: Is that why you're never on MSN? Or ICQ?

For those who have direct access to Net it's not important, but to those, who use modem it eats a lot of traffic... well, speed, that's not important. Why must I wait for God knows how much time to see some ad, like "Warsheep online" and other crap?! Everytime (thre is some period) another flash ad is loading. And that eats MY speed!!!

We actually fixed this yesterday. I just re-added him on msn.

I use Trillian for Yahoo and AIM when Im around, and for MSN when Im away/playing a game for the autoresponse. I use MSN itself when Im back for the voice messages and custom smileys, et cetera.

I'd reccomend Trillian as it does the 4 most common chat programs, and allows you to manage all 4 at once.

I like Miranda for ICQ as I can easily configure and theme it to look and act like ICQ 98. One of the big reasons I started using ICQ is that I preferred the offline messaging and behavior of the client. Newer clients which act more like AIM and MSN really offer nothing to me (when I'm looking for something like that I actually use one of them).

Gaim is my number one choice for everything else (Jabber, MSN, AIM, etc).

I used to use ICQ, but I'm currently using MSN because more of my contacts prefer over ICQ.

Me too, all my friends have MSN. I use Adium X right now, which is just like Trillian and Gaim and stuff, and it's actually very nice. I am now in the process of converting everybody to Skype.
