Someone finally gets it.

Good Old Games - GOG for short - is a company that decided to do what most publishers out there don't give a rat's arse about: republish the classics. And - which I just can't stress out enough...

Make. Sure. They. Work. On. Modern. OS.

On today's market, where games just over a year old are often deemed "inferior" due to not using the latest graphical *bling*, where more and more "gamers" are kiddies whose first operating system was Windows XP and who never heard PC's used to be slower than 1 gHz, old games don't get a fraction of the respect they deserve.

With this kind of market, it takes balls of stainless steel to do what they're doing. Hats off, gentlemen.

PS. Naturally, we're removing any games we had up for download that are sold on the GOG site. (but will add new ones - that aren't - to compensate for it soon)

PS2. If only the site displayed the buylinks as it's supposed to... well, it doesn't, and our webteam doesn't seem in any hurry to fix it. So instead of properly linking to GOG's online store, the review pages will only show the ESA: NO GO icon, like they do with all other sold titles. :/

Boxshots: Mixed up Mother Goose

I see AlumiuN
and AlumiuN sees me
AlumiuN sees the boxshots I'd like to see.
God bless AlumiuN
and God bless me
God bless the boxshots I'd like to see!

Have a look at the boxshots by AlumiuN,
the man with the mixed up metal name I practised to write above
