01-05-2005 Back in the year 1889, the First Congress of the Second Socialist International selected May First as a day for international celebration of the workers. May first was chosen in commemoration of the Haymarket Massacre which occurred in Chicago in 1886. Most of the countries around the globe recognize this international holiday. They fought for an 8 hour working shift, equal payment for men and women and most of all they fought against child labor. Just think how many of you (who now comfortably play computer games) would be forced to work under extreme conditions (most child labor was used in mine shafts) a hundred years ago. Why can you enjoy your youth today? It�s because people in the past have stood up against several wrongs. HIND - The Russian Combat Helicopter Simulation Two days witout an update. Shame on us! We decieded to do two things because of that. Firstly, add a simulation game called HIND - The Russian Combat Helicopter Simulation. The name is quite scary, but I assure you that the controls are even scarier :P Second news is that we have changed our game listing a little so that you can see some main game feats without actually getting to the game page. 15-05-2005 A couple of hours ago, the strong and loving mother of Thorsten (The_Picard) passed away at the age of 54. She didn't have an easy life, getting cancer in a young age and having to fight for every new day, yet she still kept her fighting-spirit and her smile to the very end. Even when things were at their worst, she always found something to be happy for. She didn't get very old, but she left a lot of good memories and a spirit that will inspire us all to never give up when times are hard. Our thoughts today go to a Dutch family in hopes that they will find comfort in her strength. We will keep a day's silence in respect.
