If you’ve played the original Arkanoid you’ll like this one. The evil Doh, apparently defeated in the first game (don’t know if anyone has actually ever got there), has returned and it is up to your flying of your Arkanoid space craft to once again defeat him.
The game is almost identical to its predecessor, where the basic idea is to keep the ball bouncing around the screen until all the blocks are gone. The various power ups that some times fall down the screen are essential in getting anywhere in the game and after a few stages you learn to look out for your favorites.
The graphic is improved from the original and it keeps the original game play, which can become addictive. So if you’re a ball and paddle game fan definitely give this one a try.
The game does run under XP but your balls sometimes disappear, so dos box is recommend (unless you want the extra challenge).
